Disconnected Audio and Visual in Recordings

In reviewing the course lecture and lab recordings for this week – the audio and visual become disconnected.  It appears most frequently, when you move back in time within a recording – where the visual becomes “frozen” while the audio proceeds.  Hopefully this can be resolved – and the current recordings can be repaired?

Answer:

Good Day

It looks like this only affects classes were the instructors, screen shared their desktop.  To limit this issues please up-load your power points into Adobe connect and run them from there.  If you have documents or other items to show and require screen sharing for them, do so though go stop between documents or software being used or go back to the up-loaded power point in Adobe Connect.

Alternatively using the work around Kevin came up with or restarting the recording are the only two methods currently for these types of recording.  As the instructor you can download your recording by using the "Make Available Offline" option in the portal.  This will convert it to an MP4 that you can post elsewhere or just keep for your records.

I found a work around its not perfect, but I can show you how to get around it a bit.
I was hoping Contact north would have it fixed by now but I guess not?
I made a short video showing the problem and my kind of work around to it.
