CREATE STICK
- Universal-USB-Installer-2.0.0.8
- Step 1 - under other Linux distros, select DBAN list
- Step 2 - select DBAN iso file dban-2.2.8
- Step 3 - select usb stick
- check Fat32 format
- check wipe disk
- click yes, yes
FOR STAFF ONSITE
STEPS TO PREPARE M900z and then wipe
power on computer
tap on F1 to get to BIOS
cursor to right on Security at top menu
cursort down to Windows UEFI Firmware Update
hit enter to open menu
select Disabled
hit enter to select Disabled
cursor to right on Startup at top menu
cursor downwards to CSM
hit Enter cursor down to enabled
hit Enter to select enabled
cursor downwards to boot mode
hit enter to open menu
select Legacy only (not auto nor UEFI only)
hit enter to select Legacy Only
hit F10 to save and exit
hit enter to accept yes to save configuration and reset
tap F12 during reboot
select USB HDD : NAME OF USB KEY MANUFACTURER
NOTE for M900z:
missing a step will result with this error message on screen
